ROC 2214 - RADAR OPEN CHANNEL FLOW METER

ROC 2214 is a Radar open channel flow meter measures flow by utilizing radar level measurement technology. A radar sensor mounted above the channel continuously transmits high-frequency radar waves toward the liquid surface and receives the reflected echoes. The time taken for the pulse to travel to the liquid surface and return is used to accurately calculate the liquid level (head).

In open channel applications, flow rate is determined by measuring the liquid head as it passes through a specially designed primary element such as a flume or weir. These structures are engineered to create a known relationship between liquid level and flow rate.
